your Life and
Your Career

If you have a passion for the law but do not want to have to spend many
years
and tons of money becoming a lawyer then you are not out of luck yet.
Have you
ever heard of a court stenographer? This is the person that sits in the
courtroom and takes down all that people are saying. And after about
three
years of court stenographer training you will be able to finally
utilize your
passion for the legal world by being right in the middle of it. Want to
learn
more about how you can work in the legal world without having to become
a
lawyer?
A court stenographer or rather, a court reporter will take notes of any
legal
proceedings so that a formal and legitimate record will be made for
future
reference. For example, when a jury is deliberating a case they will
often ask
for specific information from the trial. What they get is the
transcription
from the case to read as it gives an accurate and exact report of what
went on
in the courtroom. Furthermore, you will find that your stenographer
training
will also have you helping to organize and prepare information in a
court scene
as well as take the notes in depositions for a case.
The possibilities are really endless when you choose this career and
the fact
that it is also one that is in high demand at the moment you will be
amazed at
how many jobs you will have to choose from. But that is not to say that
it is
not a very demanding and exhausting job. In fact, one of the biggest
requirements will be that you work well under pressure. Just imagine an
extremely hard court case you will have to be able to quickly take down
what
everyone is saying while not getting involved in the case itself. But
this type
of quality in a person cannot be learned at court stenographer classes.
In fact, you will be hard pressed to find a stenographer out there that
is the
nervous type or even the nosy type. These people are all very
professional and
have an innate ability to not only work under extreme pressure but also
to
detach themselves to the actual details of what they are transcribing.
But even
those solid individuals had to get in lots of court stenographer
training in
order to do the mechanics of the job. For instance, one of the methods
you will
be trained on would be in the use of the stenotype machine.
When you see a stenographer hard at work on the keyboard you may be
surprised to
hear that it is not your typical keyboard. Instead, if you were to look
at it
you would see that it is a mix of symbols that represent actual words.
This is
just one of the reasons why it takes many years of stenographer classes
so that
you can memorize and learn to use all these keys. Are you ready for
this type
of challenge? Get more information today to change your career.
