A) Singapore Citizens/Singapore permanent residents and current Employment Pass holder below 55 years of age, who has a minimum academic qualification of an O-level certificate or diploma with good result for the relevant subjects teaching.   (subjected to other selection criterias) Registration is free. We will only recommend the services of the tutor who we feel can benefit and improve  students who are willing learners.

B) Tutors have to produce certificates as proofs of educational qualifications, testimonials, professional qualifications,  relevant certification, references for your expertise etc, on the first lesson upon request. Therefore it is advisable to declare  details of your qualifications accurately and honestly during registration to avoid negative impression and  doubts about your  integrity and credibility as a qualified tutor.

C)  We only accept cancellation for reasons of unforseen circumstances, otherwise the adminstrative fee of S$50  is payable to compensate for our  time and effort. Tutors must be deliberate and consider carefully whether they could  firmly  accept  tutoring for a specific period of time, and not be flipant or  whimsical.  We have to ensure that the student's education and interests are taken seriously, the tutors who are naturally the role models  must act responsibly or be weeded out from future consideration.

Mistakes are sometimes made despite the care and caution taken in the initial screening,  but it is a rare occurence. In the event when an assignment is prematurely terminated during the first month,  payment of  the tuition fee will be pro-rated based on the total number of lessons conducted.  Fifty percent of the pro-rated fees due will be paid to the tutor and the rest to the agency.  However, if the student's termination is due to the tutor's incompetence, eg. not being able to handle the  subject or due to poor attitude, lackadaisical,  being perpetually late or for not conducting regular lessons,  the original amount of full 50% will be deducted as agency fee, with the balance disburse to you. To ensure success of the tuition we are selective of the kind of students we accept  as there is a small percentage of students who unsuitable for tuition.

This is rarely happened,  but we will help to  mediate in any dispute involving tutors and customers, when the need arise  by giving our opinion, advice or suggestion in solving any problems.

The customer only pays the tuition fee and no other fee is payable. The one-time agency fee is deductable from the tutor's tuition fee, based on 50% of the total of 4 weeks. The agency fee is payable directly to the agency at the end of the 4th week via crossed-cheque or ATM transfer. The tutor will receive the full tuition fee on subsequent months directly from the customer. As a formality, we will send a letter and invoice to the customer with the details of the tuition such as tutor's qualification, date of commencement of tuition, subjects, level, duration of each lesson and frequency etc. Agency fee for assignments with a short duration, especially towards final term end will be given concession in order to justify acceptance by tutors.

Cancellation is only allowed due to unforseen circumstances or due to medical reason. Otherwise we will bill you for the time and effort  for amount of S$50 as adminstrative fee as any order for tutor often cost us considerable time and effort. 

We have almost never had to mediate in any dispute involving tutors, however when the need arise we  will help by giving our opinion, advice or suggestion in solving any problems when required.
